Terms of Service

Welcome to Anato. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Anato mobile application (“App”) and related services provided by Anato Limited, a private limited company registered in Hong Kong (“Anato Limited,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Anato is an educational anatomy learning product and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Anato, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

Some features of Anato may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscription and In-App Purchases

Anato offers a free tier and optional Pro and Family subscriptions with additional features and content. Subscriptions are sold and processed through the Apple App Store (and the Google Play Store on Android), with subscription state managed via RevenueCat.

• Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App.
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to 3D models, illustrations, text, software, and design — are owned by Anato Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent. See our Acknowledgements page for credits to open-source projects and licensed third-party assets.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Anato is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anato Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, where Anato Limited is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
